SENEDIA Tech Talk: Understanding the UK ITAR Environment

SENEDIA held a virtual Tech Talk on 23 April.   Christopher Rose, the defence acquisition and defence trade policy lead for the UK at the British Embassy in Washington, provided insights on the UK’s ITAR Requirements.

Christopher Rose is the defence acquisition and defence trade policy lead for the UK at the British Embassy in Washington. As the senior acquisition official for the Ministry of Defence in the USA, Chris is responsible for the UK’s significant US acquisition portfolio, representing > $18B of commitments for US equipment and services. Chris is also responsible for bilateral defence trade policy issues with the US and is one of the leads for export control reform and other barriers to collaboration initiatives.
