On 25 March, SENEDIA hosted the Tech Talk – Understanding the ITAR Environment with Barbara Moreau, Director, Releasibility and Technology Transfer at Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems and Elizabeth Chipres, Director, Global Trade at Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems. The talk provided insights on the parameters of Global Trade and Releasability and the regulations that govern exports. Ms. Moreau discussed the why and how of releasability and tech transfer related to export with foreign entities. Ms. Chipres then provided details on export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
