What is your company’s history?
Acumentrics, Inc., headquartered in Walpole, Massachusetts, has been a trusted market leader in critical power solutions used in military and commercial applications for over two decades. As the need grew to deploy computer grade electronics in austere environments to support the military and humanitarian missions around the world, so did the need for a Military Grade Uninterruptible Power Supply “UPS” that could be used in harsh conditions, anywhere on the globe. Acumentrics was formed in 1994 to focus on the design, manufacture, and support of a purpose built Military Grade Uninterruptible Power Supply which is commonly referred to as a Rugged Uninterruptible Power Supply (RUPS™). Over the years, Acumentrics’ Power Product Road Map has grown to keep pace with the DoD’s continued demand for Smaller, Lighter Weight and more Powerful UPSs “SWaP” that can be found on hundreds of DoD Programs of Record that support Shipboard, Undersea, Ground, Mobile, Airborne and UAV Applications.

Acumentrics power solution experts provide power architecture technical support, along with a full line of power products that protect, convert, condition, and battery backup electronic equipment when reliability is mission critical. These MIL STD Certified Commercial Off The Shelf “COTS” Power Products include Rugged Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Power Conditioners, Portable Power Systems, Inverters, Power Distribution Units “PDU” and other trusted power solutions. Leveraging our power expertise, Acumentrics also provides hand carried portable power solutions that meet the demands of the rapidly growing mobile/remote markets such as, Soldier Worn, Telemedicine, Telehealth, First Responders, Disaster Relief or anyone needing a smart portable, compact solution. Acumentrics also offers a Rugged SmartPDU that allows the user to remotely control the power distribution and circuit protection levels along with monitoring other electrical system characteristics using an Acumentrics GUI Software Interface making it ideal for shipboard applications.
