The Southeastern New England Defense Industry Alliance (SENEDIA) launched a series of technology talks, Tech Talks, to explore and share defense technology and its applications and opportunities. Senior leaders from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWC Division Newport) have presented several Tech Talks that highlight areas of technical focus at the Warfare Center. Other Tech Talks have included Ms. Katie Arrington on the DoD Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, Amazon Web Services and its DoD Platform, Physical Cybersecurity, Protecting the Grid, and Vision Creation for Research and Technology.
Given the pandemic, SENEDIA has transitioned the Tech Talks to a virtual environment, with the first one held on 24 June 2020. SENEDIA is committed to continuing to hold these Tech Talks to provide insights into emerging technologies and help companies grow business and create networking opportunities.
